0.33 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before October 2034. Hazy, deep amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy, gently fruity aroma of sultanas, vanilla, rum, honey and overripe banana. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and gently fruity taste of vanilla, honey, overripe banana, clove, marzipan, rum and sultanas, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, minimally tartish and slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice flavours from the barrel, matches quite well with the Weizenbock. Unfortunately a little thin and therefore not as rich as it could have been.

330ml can. Cloudy, amber colour with small, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. BA supported (if not dominated), sweet-ish, caramel malty and minimally wheaty malty as well as minimally yeasty fruity aroma, notes of molasses, caramel, rum, toffee, a touch of butterscotch, banana, dark honey. Taste is less BA dominated, sweet-ish, wheaty malty and slightly yeasty fruity, minimally sugary, woody overtones, notes of molasses, rum, caramel, toffee, a touch of pear, banana, butterscotch; minimally warming, alcoholic finish with an oaky touch.
Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation.
Nice idea to combine rum and Weizenbock, sadly the rum is less supportive but rather predominant in this case; base beer lacks some body for a better integration of flavours - definitely a promising prototype with potential for improvement.
