Slightly hazy deep amber and copper coloured body with a thick three centimetre tall tan microfoamed head. Aroma of bright grassy hops with a ton of coffee smells along with a light malt note and some subdued sweet elements. Medium-bodied; Strong rich coffee flavour, earth, caramel and toffee with a nice hoppy flavour showing some pine and light citrus. Aftertaste shows a good blend of coffee and hops with a light alcohol note and very little else. Overall, a pretty good balance of coffee and hops with a nice sweetness and mellow malts throughout. I’ve had other similar beers to this one and this seems better than the others with a great balance. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 19-December-2015 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 26-April-2016.

Bottle. Deep amber in colour, with a rocky, white, head and moderate carbonation. Sweetish, citrus hop aroma.Peach and tangerine flavours, followed by a touch of coffee bean, leading to a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle - light copper - soapy lace - interesting infusion of coffee flavor into a dry, crisp, highly floral and citric American IPA - I went in figuring it would be lame and/or heavy-handed - malts are.biscuity - a slight mineral dryness - coffee adds some vanilla and earthy/woody character, making this tastes almost like an oak-aged ipa (think Great Divide Rumble) - dry, spicy finish, with lingering earthy coffee bean - I like it!
