Flaska från SB. Valnötsfärgad vätska med lågt krämigt skum. Rostade nötter, kavring, enbär, fruktkaka, bitter apelsinmarmelad, röda äpplen. Lång eftersmak, rejäl beska, harmonisk och välbalanserad. Mycket gott

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.6%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of dark malts, prunes, dark chocolate, caramel, some vinous hints. Flavour with the same elements (but no vinous hints here), also mild coffee, moderate hops in the finish. Okay.

Bottle from Aldi. Clear ruby body with a thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, toffee, coffee and fig. Flavour of caramel, stewed berries and treacle. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A tasty brew - rich and warming. This is the best Broughton beer I’ve tasted. I’m surprised this isn’t rated much higher than it is.
