Bottled(500ml). -This isn’t ESL for sure. The best Kalnapilis I’ve tried in Lithuania. Sweet malty and hoppy flavor but this time sweetness is well balanced. Nice hop character with mild alcohol notes.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, mediumsized white head, lacing. Aroma of diacetyl and malts. Flavour enormous diacetyl, weak malts, very skunked hops and rubber. Metallic hints also all the way through. Avoid if only possible.

Bottled. An orange beer with a thick bubbly white head. The aroma is malty with strong notes of alcohol and some metallic notes - is it from the alcohol or the hops? The flavor is sweet malty and again dominated by alcohol and again with the metallic note, leading to a dry metallic end.

Dull golden colour. Malty character that is slightly sticky (corn syrupy - though that usually ferments out so I’m not suggesting that they actually use it). Finishes mostly with alcohol, which given the strength is no surprise.

Sampled draught at Piti, Vilnius.
Pale golden, small creamy head. Alcohol aroma. Lightly aplley and grassy, fairly sweet with clean mouthfeel. No bitterness.
