Brewed traditionally with Challenger and Fuggles wholeleaf hops, Maris Otter and Crystal malts and a trace of coriander. It is the first bottled ale of its type and is truly a class apart. It is very smooth and refreshing on the palate. Accompanies all tasty food, particularly curries, Chinese and Thai dishes.

Bottle: Golden to deep golden, a bit unclear, smaller off-white head, sticking to the glass; aromatic hops in the dry bitter-malty nose; moderate dry bitter nose, light bodied, soft, lingering hoppy and malty finish with a good dash of coriander in the aftertaste. O.K., spicy.....

02/03 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured dark golden body with small head. Nice spicy, yeasty and malty aroma, some coriander, biscuit, fruity, totally as I like it. Flavor is typically weak though, slightly bitterish and dry, consisting mostly of coriander spice and biscuit malty. After its thin body aftertaste can last only short, but its characters made is fine sweetish vanilla and biscuity. Nice beer which misses whole body, if only had more of it!

Bottle from beershop.hr, shared with heavy. Poured a bronze colour with a small head that went away at a medium pace. The nose is an assault of coriander, but basically ends up smelling like cookie dough or something later on. Taste... dry, spicy... reminds me of the thyme beer I’ve had. Maybe rosemary... Anyway, dominated by the spice and not much else is there. Bitterish but lacking a bitter aftertaste. Notes of lemon. Dunno. Wonder how it would be without the coriander. Not really my type of beer, kinda tasty but gets tiring quite fast.

Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, honeyish nose. Moderate malty, slight hoppy and mild fruity with coriander that dominates. Bit watery, quite dry finish.

(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet, slightly cara-malty aroma with notes of lemon, tangerine, flowery hops as well as a touch of coriander. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a medium carbonation. (Cara-)malty and moderately citrus-fruity taste with bearable notes of coriander; quite dry and bitter spicy finish. The coriander is dispensable in my -umbel- opinion (18.VIII.09).

clear orange, small white head. aroma is fruity, spicy, flowery. flavor is sweetish, sourish. clear orange, large offwhite head. re-rate. app+1 sourish citrussy dough like aroma, sort of a little like a radler. flavor is coriander, flowery hops, some bitterhops, small malty balance, ends citrussy bitter and spicy. Alone it is not tasty at all, but it would probably work well with thai and chinese food.

500ml bottle, bb. Oct.09, from Centra, Colosseum Park in Oslo. Frothy, white head of foam that stays quite well. Fine display of laceworks. Misty, golden-amber body. Dry aroma of herbs and flowers. Fruity flavour with hop resin, coriander and, in fact, hints of cactus (as in Bitter and Twisted). Some notes of earthy malts beneath. Smooth, but still lingering aftertaste, of hoppy fruits with a light dry bitterness to it. Well balanced. Summer drink with a pleasant, unusual taste (Tromsø, 09.06.2009).
