This is a rich, sumptuous porter packed full of flavours. Chocolate is layered throughout the beer with special Venezuelan cacao nibs, accentuating the caramel and biscuit notes from the malts. Our marshmallowy mouthfeel is creamy with a hint of vanilla, guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Can from the Asdas. Nose is earthy, coconut, wafer, chocolate, hint of catering chocolate. Taste is ash, coconut, woody, slight sour note, leading to a sweet milk chocolate finish.
The heavy opening ash notes, stop it being to cloying. But it's not very nice.

Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - deep brown to black and beige head.
Nose - dark and milk chocolate. Coconut and marshmallow lurking. Beige head.
Taste - sweet coconut and marshmallow. Sweet chocolate at the back.
Palate - very sweet and the base beer ingredients missing.
Overall - nah, sickly sweet! Siren you're better than this.

440ml can from the brewery. Pound a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, light marshmallow. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, toasty, liqourice, light chocolate, marshmallow, light liquorice bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can at home picked up from a nutty mahognay brown coloured pour with a lasting greyigh khaki head. Aroma is nutty roast, rustic, charred wood, liquorice, tangy woodland fruit. Palate is semi sweet, woody tannin, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, vanilla, robust roast, bitter char, light tangy dark fruits, cocoa. Solid robust porter.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Siren online. Pours clear, deep brown with a small, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of sugary chocolate, bread pudding, mellow roast, a little ash and sweetened coffee. Light bodied with average carbonation. OK balance to finish, more sweet chocolate, raisins, a scattering of berries. Enjoyable. Nice when you want some pastry but not a 15% bomb.
