almost black colour, large, dense beige head; aroma of coffee, dairy cream, some vanilla, ash, burnt sunflower seeds and some burnt woody notes; taste has similar notes to the aroma; good one

330ml bottle, opened at Les Collines Iduki. Pours hazed dark with a large deep tan head. Robust roast with a rough toasted linger, grainy malt undercurrent.. moderate ashy finish. Decent.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Nicolas Kew. Pours mostly clear brown with a billowing, foamy khaky head. Light sweet flavour with notes of well toasted brown bread, a little cocoa, mellow earthy hops, a light metallic note, nips of raisins. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Soft roasted malts in the finish, more brown bread. Pretty basic gear.
