This light and traditional lager was brewed with American pilsner malt and hopped with 100% VT Cascade hops. Lagered for over a month at near freezing temperatures, gives this lager a clean, crisp finish. Perfect for hanging with friends and long weekends.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: glossy to translucent yellow color with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: slight straw/hay scent with a light bready/doughy malt in the background
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet quality underscored by a light bitter tone; finishes crisp and mostly sweet
Texture: light bodied; sessionable; good smoothness with nothing distracting anywhere. good carb about it.
Overall: nice lager just to have while grilling, chilling or fishing and when I come back to this next time, I'll probably have it straight out of the can.

CBJ tasting, thanks to LKs for the can. Near clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Papery aged malts and light dusty ripe citrus. Zombie beer

Can at home in Canaan. Picked up from Hunger Mountain. Pours clear, bright yellow-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with hearty bready pale malts, hints of dough and butter, faint bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. OK balance to finish, bready and simple. Drinks fine.
