On tap at Århus Ølfestival. Served an unclear, murkish brown body with a quite small beige head. Dried fruits, mostly raisins, and sweetness dominated the aroma, with some alcohol shining through. Quite sweetish flavor with roasted malt and a little bitterness. Warming, full-bodied mouthfeel. Belgo-sweet finish. Considering it’s a 6.5% beer, the alcohol is very evident, but not in an annoying way. Quite nice. (080516)

Draught at Ølfestival 2008, Århus
Cloudy brown color; big creamy head. Some esters in the aroma, candi sugar, very light yeast fruitness. Sweetish flavor, caramel... but it seems still unfinished…

Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear dark amber beer with a creamy head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and some fruits, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and alcohol, that leaves a burn in the throat. Simple, but nice.
