Keg at BrewDog Soho - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy white crown. The nose holds some piney hops, orange rind, lightly toasted pale malts. Light-medium sweet flavor with further toasty malt, biscuit, pine, a little earth, faint tossed toffee, dried orange, grass. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes a little resinous my, with more toasty pine and grass, wholegrain bred, ripe citrus fruits, some rindy bitterness. Not bad. This one grew on me.

Draft at Brewdog Soho. Deep copper coloured pour with a lasting off white frothy head. Aroma is nice mix of toasted malts, singed pine, woodland berries, hint of spice. Flavour is composed of a solid base malt, nutty and toasted malts, pine hop, woody, hints of spice, liquorice or star anise. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation, airy. Assertive clean back of the throat woody bitterness. Interesting beer. I’m not quite sure what it is, probably not a pale ale though.
