A smooth stout with rich dark chocolate and caramel malts, complemented by a touch of tart blackberry. Mild bitterness and a balanced, fruity finish. Full-bodied with a refreshing twist.

Hand pulled half pint at the New Inn, Newport (Shropshire) on 3rd March 2025, lunch time. Dark and mean looking, beige crust on top. Tart, semi sour Blackberry flavour, it's a bitter Stout for sure. Interesting but a little too sour for my palate.

Cask at the Angel Inn, Lichfield, 27/02/2025.
Lighter shade of black topped with a good sized lasting khaki head ... a solid looker of a beer.
Nose is chocolate, roast malts, dried fruit rinds, charr.
Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, cocoa powder, red berry twang, earthy roast.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Not bad.
