Labeled Pacena Porter:
Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice frothy off-white head. Nice coffee, roasted malt, chocolate and even a little smoked peat in the nose of this one. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavour throughout with a nuttiness that fades into a coffee bitterness at the tail end. Aftertaste shows some roasted malt, chocolate and a tiny bit of sugars. Overall, a very nice beer for my first one in Bolivia - good to try as it’s a limited edition beer! I sampled this 33 cL bottle, purchased from the Airport (Brazilian Coffee) in Santa Cruz, Bolivia (VVI) for about $1.25 waiting for our flight to Cochabamba, Bolivia on 11-August-2006.
