Bottle. Beer Stop. Nearly black. Beautiful thick tan swede. Big scorched grapefruit vibe. Some blackcurrant. Light roast chocolate malt. A bit ashy and earthy. Taste is twangy bitter and earthy. Loads of body. Slick and slightly chewy. Big bitterness to finish. Fuck.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Figs & Grain. Pours black-brown with a dense, lasting creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, delicious, notes of toasted pine, bittersweet cocoa, fresh pine, orange peel. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with some scorched earth bitterness, dark chocolate, burnt pine, more citrus peel and toasted pine. Such depth, such balance. Gorgeous.
