Black topped with a thin tan head that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is dried fruit rinds, cherry brandy evident, dark malts, light roast, spice, molasses.
Taste comprises dark malts, cherry stones, marzipan, mellow roast, dark chocolate shavings.
Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced rising boost and plenty of cherry brandy barrel offered.
Solid sipper.

Near opaque dark brown beer, decent bubbly dark tan head that lasts a minute. Nose is bruised cherry overlaid by Amaretto. Pretty light palate for the hefty abv, it's mildly dry with decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth and fairly light bodied dark malts but, a nice rich dark chocolate flavour, a little cocoa. The barrelling is a total delight. Some mild wet wood into ripe and rich cherry liqueur with a nice side serving of amaretto liqueur. It all comes together very well indeed. A unique and well thought Impy that is rich, wonderfully flavoured and bloody quaffable.

Thanks fonefan! Pitch black colour, small head. Aroma is liquorice, some cherries, mild wood with some alcohol and mild spiciness. Flavour is cherries, wood, some liquorice, alcohol and mild wooden tones. Overall quite sweet.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, minimal head. Aroma of marzipan and cherry brandy. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice and cherry brandy, lots of marzipan. Mid bitter finish.

0,375l bottle at home during Charity Tasting. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells artificial berry notes, spices, cherries. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes artificial notes, cherries, almonds, spices. Finishes lightly sweet with lots of artificial notes. this is not good, way too many artificial flavors.

Bottle, 375 ml, shared at the charity tasting. Black with tan head. Chocolate, fruity notes, artificial cherries and berries. Woody, dry, bitter finish, Sweet and unstructured, not enough body to support the beer. Quiet messy.

A black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of cherries, strong dark malt, wood. Taste of strong dark roasted malt, ripe cherries, brandy, full body, boozy finish.
