Cask at the Live and Let Live, Cambridge. Reddish copper with a ring of white head; the aroma is musty and mushroomy, but rather pleasant; sweet fruity malt flavours and a sour fruity finish. Different.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 18/07/09. Quercus produced a festival special called "Julian House" for the RO, but the descriptions here look very similar and the ABV was the same, so I am rating it here. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. Fruity malts, with a hint of citrus and earthy hops, ending bitter. Ok.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF, 2007. Amber colour with thin beige head. Tea like, really quite hoppy. Tea like bitter, very drinkable. Quite harsh acidic on finish. Really challenges the gums.
