Cask at the brewpub. Pours deep brown with a bubbly tan head. Sugary chocolate in the nose, some dark bread, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with some mellow cocoa, faint earthy bitterness, dried dark fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Sweet finish, a little sticky, with more cocoa, earth, dark fruits, light wood. Not bad overall.
