Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from the LBL. Pours clear, rich orange-gold with a thin, bubbly white head. The nose holds semi-ripe citrus, pae bread, mango and papaya, light pine. Light-mediums west flavour with further bready malts, low bitterness, juicy and somewhat gooey citrus fruits, light oily pine, impressions of tropical fruits. Light bodied with soft carbonation; the condition is a little off on this one. More pretty juicy city’s fruits in the finish, moderate bready sugars, faint caramel, mellow bitterness. Nice character here, but lacking adequate carbonation the beer at times comes across as a little chewy. Overall, just alright.
