A bouquet of caramel toffee and amber malts and sweet berries give way to a palate of biscuit malts woody and fruity hops that deliver a medium dry finish offset with some creaminess.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. ABV noted at 5.0%. Pours an attractive clear copper with a frothy, light khaki head. Light-medium sweet flavour with toasted malts, light spicy grains, a little earth, aged berries, English yeast. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Balanced finish, rounded bready malts. Nice one.

Cask at EBF Nov 2021. Aroma is fruity with sour berry hints. Big lively foamy light beige head. Chestnut. Clear. Initial sourness berries. Soon followed by chocolatey malty bitterness. A tad smoky However this is short-lived as tropical fruits come through and into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Soft carbonation. Long dry finish. More a hoppy ESB than a Red IPA. Not great.
