WAVE MACHINE is a fruity New England IPA.
We use a pale, oaty grist on this one, and keep the bitterness low to let the hops shine. Hopped hotside with a cryo blend from YCH called TRI2304. This hop was developed to have high oil and other ‘aroma positive’ compounds with descriptors of mango, red grapefruit, peach, and floral. A big(ish) dry hop of Galaxy, BRU-1, Azacca and Citra for some tropical punch.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Quarter Store. Pours cloudy gold with a frothy, white head. Medium sweet flavour, big white grape character, some melon, peach, tangerine, mellow rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. A little sweet pale bread to finish, lots more white grape, peach, ripe lemon. Not bad overall.

Keg at the plasterers Arms. A cloudy milky golden orange coloured pour frorhy. White head. Aroma is super juicy peach and mango, orange, shurbet, soft wheat, slick oats, spicy green hop.. Palate is soft creamy wheat, slick oats.. Flavour is composed of oaty, oily, spicy green hop, mango, peach. Mellow tropicals. Palate is grainy, dry, grains, spicy, waxy citrus. Oily, highish carbonation.
