MAGIC MIRROR is a Belgian-style witbier with peaches and lemon verbena.
Much magic gone into this one! We start things off traditionally and steep coriander seeds in the whirlpool for big citrus aromas from the linalool and geraniol oils found in the seeds. Lemon verbena is then steeped for its lemony, herbal fragrance. Then comes Mandarina Bavaria hops for some citrus, and a Belgian Wit yeast for mild banana and clove aromas. Peach purée to finish!

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Quarter Store. Pours hazy orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet, notes of smooth peach and tangerine, citrus zest, verbena, oily lime, mild bitterness, wheaty accents. Light bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Finishes with further oily and zesty citrus character, lemongrass, light bitter straw. Not bad overall.
