Cask conditioned at Cockney Pub, Århus
Hazy deep blond color; big creamy head (nitrogen?). It has at first a nice aroma of earthy hops. A smooth mouthfeel, with some malt and caramel flavor, and a good bitterness. Good, but not magic as the old Crouch Vale production.

Cask, gravity dispense at Woodford Beer Festival at The Duke, Woodford, Northants, 25-05-07. Poured light amber in colour with a nice hoppy aroma. Taste was initially a bit soapy, don’t know where that came from but I tried this twice at different times of the day and still got a soapy taste, once you got past that it was a reasonable bitter that had good hoppy characteristics but otherwise fell short in many other areas.

Cask handpull at Dog & Bell, Deptford. Yeasty citrus aroma. Expected more hops. Has a bit of sherbertyness and tingly finish, but I wanted more.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and lovely hoppy - leaning a little towards flowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, on a dry hoppy backdrop, where even the hop oils makes their presence. An English re-make of an American IPA - a really good beer - to make it great the ABV should be higher.
