Five encapsulates the spirit of collaboration with Bairds new "craft" variety of malt and artwork from the talented Simon Mitchell this beer is proof that everything is better with friends. Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Mother Kelly's Well Street. Pours totally clear honey-gold with a foamy, white head. Average to mediocre overall, which is disappointing, as Fourpure typically churns out serviceable gear. This one has a lot of sun-kissed pale grains, old orange peel, watery pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more lightly toasted grains, some bitter grass, vague pine and citrus. Drinkable, but that's the highest praise I can offer here.
