Cask at the 4th Olds & Bolds Beer Festival, Footscray Rugby Club, Eltham, April 2018. Copper coloured pour with a white head. Nose of orchard fruit, malt. Caramel, toffee apple, bitter malt flavours. Straightforward stuff.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark amber, thin, short-lived white head. Low carbonation, nearly flat. Light sour, acetic acid nose. Taste is light sour, light caramel, woody. Bit odd.

500ml Bottle: BBD 30 May 15, poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 13 Aug 14. Amber to deep golden in colour with a full white crown. The nose was a little yeasty and bordering on sour (off notes too) with a mini maltiness. It seemed almost like home brew to be honest as the taste followed the aromas very closely. Fruitiness within the flavours also, but the underlying taste was not good. Not overly impressed. Obtained from Beers of Europe. I ordered this because I loved this breweries Armistice brew, luckily their ’Triple Champion’ I had after this was fine.

Bottled (from Beers Of Europe). Deep golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is sour, some wood, mild berries, some slight floral and fruity notes as well. Flavour is rather similar. Rather sweet, but at the same time strange.

Gravity dispense, shared with Finn. Copper body under a thin, filmy layer. Inviting floral hop in aroma. The taste is a bit weaker with ripe fruits and sweet malts. Bitter notes towards the ending (Reading BF, 02.05.2008).
