cask at cloisters edinburgh ... red copper ... thin white head ... toffee malt and light hop nose ... sweet tiofee malts with a big hop kick in its backbone ... ligth dryness.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. That’s a decent beer, some citrus. Pretty decent, nice citrus fruits. Overall a pretty decent session beer. And my last beer of a very long day. Unless of course you count the halves of P2 Imperial stout and Moor JJJ IPA I had bottled back at my hotel. Oh the hangover.
