Our third collab with our friends at @fidensbrewing and its the heaviest yet.

Heaviest Mettle Cut cranks the dial past max. This DIPA hits hard with a face-melting blend of Riwaka and Mosaic. Explosive notes of ripe tropical fruit and citrus rip through, while subtle berry and stone fruit linger. With a pillowy mouthfeel, pleasant sweetness, and soft floral bitterness, Heaviest Mettle Cut warrants more than one encore.

16 oz can shared by Clarkvv. Thank you! Aroma of tangerine, apricots, and a mild bready malt. Soft mango, papaya, tangerine. The 9% is totally hidden. Great mouthfeel, nice!

Can shared by Clarkvv--thanks, Clark! Cloudy, bright dark yellow, ring of head and light lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruit, sweet grapefruit and herb. Taste is incredibly strong initial tropical fruit and berry, scallion component, with later melon, stone fruit. Smooth, soft carbonation, finish as taste. The sweet fruit and herb mix often really conflicts but they exist in pretty good harmony here. Excellent strength.

Undated (wtf?!) can drunk 3/15/25.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy. Bright tangerine-golden. Small, white head quickly to edge.
Tropical and juicy with heavy tangelo, mandarin, Clementine. Light lemongrass, hint of scallion. Lots of cracker. Very different than the rich intensity of the last two in the series...
Heavy lemongrass and scallion, tangerine, lemon oil, tangelo, Clementine. Light white bread and cracker. Pretty thin for 9%. Somewhat sugary. Light. Scalliony. Yeah...wtf happened that this is so different.

Pours a hazy, honey-peach color, with small head. Aroma is rather muted, with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors follow, though a bit more pronounced, with just a touch of alcohol burn. Mouthfeel seems a bit thin for the style and ABV. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Pours murky gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Pineapple and tangerine aromas. Thick with hot caramel, pineapple and tangerine upfront turning to hot golden syrup in the lasting finish.
