Bottled. A hazy red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma is sweet with nots notes of citrus and other fruits as well as a slight edge of acidity. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and alcohol, leading to a dry strawy and bitter finish.

Good white head; deep red-chestnut beer. Brett nose! Lactic, wood, but nice, if a tad wet dog; leather. Astringent taste, slightly sourish, woodstripper... Mouthfeel is too astringent, off-putting. Nice nose, pity about the rest. ALTBIER? Try selling this, in this form, in Düsseldorf. You’ll get taken in.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy deep amber to brown with a collapsing light tan head. Mild fruity and slight citric and malty. Dry malty, light fruity yet also light smoked. Mild fruity and smoked finish. Bitter and spiced finish. Infected yet with a nice note of what it could have been.
