A "double strength" version of classic Belgian-style "white" ale. A deceptively light ale spiced with Curacao Orange Peel and coriander seed.

Pours cloudy pale yellow w/ medium white head and lacing. Very lemony aroma, taste is slightly acidic, not very carbonated, w/a bit of a salty bite to finish.

12 ounce bottle. Honey gold pour. Brief white head. Earthy, yeast wheat malt aroma. Sweet, wheat malt flavor upfront. Notes of orange peel, Belgian candi sugar and coriander. A bit more body and depth than I am accustomed to for the style. Some spicy hops on the backend. Very Belgiany. Quite nice.

12 oz can from Halftime. Orange golden body, cloudy, skin of white head. Aromais a perfect blend of the Belgian yeast and orange peel. Coriander adds a nice savory snap to the the zesty flavors. Sweet with a light tingle .

Poured from 22oz bottle(room temp) a straw colour with a smallish head of foam that dissipated quickly. I also note that the carbonation level seems to be very low and that's ok with me.
The smell is very spicy with notes of clove as well as some yeasty sourness.
The taste has some of the clove noted in the smell but it's pushed into the background while other spices and a yeasty sweet and sour thingy take center stage. The finish is quite spicy and long lasting. Oh yeah, 7%abv eh? Well hidden!
Overall, I find the taste different from the Wits I've tried before and in this case, different=it's quite pleasing.
Bottom line: An easy drinking Witbier that must make the locals of this brewery very happy on a hot summer day. I recommend it.
Thanks again to Nutbrown!

Bottle. A- White pepper, cloves, coriander, subtle orange. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Subtle white chocolate, coriander, spices. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- Not sure where the white chocolate sweetness came from but overall this was a very tasty beer. Balanced well considering all the spices going on. Not overwhelming or overpowering at all.

From bottle courtesy of Maria and Vasilis. Thanks guys! Light hazy pale yellow color with white head. Yeasty, hoppy aroma, citrusy fruity, light spicy - coriander, some malty notes. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium almost oily body with soft carbonation.

Draught @ Interwich - Terminal C, LaGuardia Airport (LGA), Flushing, NY
Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, ornage and hint of coriander. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long malty, orange and light coriander finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Way to malty and none of the crisp and fresh feeling you want from a wit.
