A "double strength" version of classic Belgian-style "white" ale. A deceptively light ale spiced with Curacao Orange Peel and coriander seed.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle through trade with JStax poured into weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with small white head that dissapates quckly. Very little lacing, medium/light body, medium carbonation that goes to light quickly, and nice orange aroma. Taste is citrus (orange with some lemon), coriander, and esters. Pretty good, but not great.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden blond with a small white head. Nose is typical of a wit, with citrus, wheat, and a prominent coriander note. Flavour of sweet orange peel, some citrus, less of the coriander then on the nose, and wheat acting as the backbone. Finishes more so on the spicy / coriander notes, with some sweetness. Fairly low carbonation for the style. Decent, if unspectacular.

12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy gold with a thin off-white head. The aroma is orange rind, butterscotch, cinnamon, and cloves. The flavor is citrus sweetness, with a slight bitter undercurrent, and a little sour in the finish. The palate is smooth and creamy, with a just a little graininess and carbonation. Overall, this is a mellow and flavorful beer, with a wonderful flavor and mouthfeel.

Enjoyed at the Grafton in Chicago, IL while drinking with an old co-worker. Appearance a bright hazy yellow ala Hoegaarden with rich white head. Aroma of coriander and cloves, slight spices, also a bit of bubble gum.
Taste of banana and bubble gum but not too sweet, has a nice smooth profile, an easy drinker, probably better than Hoegaarden. Refreshing on the first hot day of the year.

12 oz bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy pale gold with a foamy white head. Decent levels of orange and coriander aromas. Kind of mixed. Med body; foamy carbonation. Flavor is mostly citrus, and still think coriander, but there’s definitely something wheaty underneath. Or so it seems. Much more substantial than many wits. Must be the doubling.

Tap at Pony Bar. Pours a hazy, yellow-gold with a filmy white head. Lemon and citrus dominate the aroma with some mild malt notes. Somewhat floral. Flavor is sweet and light with light breadiness and some tart citrus. Despite the lightness, the flavor is rich. Medium in body with fizzy carbonation. Finishes sharp and lightly sweet. Very good.

12oz bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a big white head that evaporates almost immediately. The aroma has a strong backbone of spices and coriander with a hint of citrus. The coriander and spice character continues in the flavor with a lemony citrus in the background. Very light bodied and smooth with a great drinkability. Nice Brew!
