(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2022) Dark ruby colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, vinous nose with notes of caramel, red fruit and oak wood. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, red fruit, oak wood, raisins, plums and a mild spicy bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Fairly basic barley wine, but rich and tasty and quite balanced. Nice one.
