Pours hazy gold into a stein. Off-white head quickly recedes leaving no lacing. Sour caramel aromas. Flat with sweet yeast upfront turning to tropical fruit cocktail before the lasting dusty bitter finish.

Bottle from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours orange tinged gold with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is bready with a hint of grass. Near full in body with creamy carbonation. It’s bready in a fresh way, a bit "oily", and only lightly grassy. Heat lurks in the finish. Mild heat. Not challenging, not overly tasty, but somehow pleasing to drink.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, creamy head. Starts very spicy, strong, modest sweet. Finish with an increasing spicyness. Very drinkable, good bock!

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a whiite head. Quite sweetish on the nose, with fruits and some grains. Sweet, malty flavor with apples, sweetness and a touch of cooked vegetables. Full body. Finish with apples, sugar and a pleasant bitterness. Some notes of cooked vegetables I wish were absent. A quite decent heller bock, but not impressing. Cooked vegetables should be easy to get rid of, but the rest of it is decent. (080905)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Clear, golden with a dense, white head. Intense, malty aroma with some alcohol presence. Rather full-bodied with very sweet malt accents. Subdued bitterness with also some alcohol in the finish. Lovely. 201107

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw as well as a light note of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter finish which carries the note of straw carries thru.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy yellow with a diminished and dense white head. Aroma is slight grainy but also somewhat fresh hoppy. Starts sweet and reveals a slight malty flavour. A continued sweet note into the finish and only a slight bitterness. Some minor cardboardish note.
