Husker når denne kom - en tøff og iøynefallende boks. Desverre sto ikke innholdet i stil til forventningene, bare navnet: gruesome by name, gruesome by nature. Bra de har sluttet med denne.

Can. Pours light yellow, with a decent, creamy head. Aroma is not too good, and almost seems a bit off with notes of bread and cardboard. Flavour is ok though, and is nicely balanced with good buttery malts and a crispy hoppines.

0.5l can - expired 6 months ago. This is a clear golden beer - some unfiltered sediments here and a quickly fading and thinly sidesticking off-white head. Definitely some hops in this aroma and some almost fruity-metallic hints in here as well. Not to bad. There's still some carbonation in this senior and the mouthfeel is light oily to watery. Flavors clearly getting a bit old, but still possible to taste some hops here. Unfortunately lots of metallic flavors in both finish and aftertaste. Perhaps a bit rude of me to rate a beer that's way over the date when it was meant to be drunken, but I'm sure this could have been a nice lager fresh. Will give it a new round if I see it again.

Can, from Meny Vollebekk. Pour pale yellow with a white head. Sweet and fruity with very little hops. Some traces of herbs and bitterness, but pretty close to the average Norwegian industrial lager. A bit thin and watery. Drinkable, but boring.
