Aus der Flasche (bbe 08.06.2026) im 2018-09 getrunken. Dieses Rye Wine zeigt deutlich seine Verwandschaft zu einem Barley Wine. Und das auf einen wunderbaren, hohen Nivau. Das hier ist klar Traumstoff!

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, reddish brown colour with small, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, malty aroma, notes of caramel, Bourbon, vanilla, hints of toffee, molasses. Taste is sweet malty, slightly malty spicy, notes of caramel, vanilla, Bourbon, molasses, hints of toffee, some rye spiciness; smooth and soft, slightly sticky palate. Nice sipper.

A reddish dark brown beer, a head is quite small and beig. Aroma has caramelly maltyness, dried fruitness, apricot, some wood. The great aroma. Taste has dried fruitness, caramel, apricot marmelade, raisin, nice and balancing bitterness, also some wood. Medium+ bodied, smooth. The great beer, balanced, sophisticated and powerful.

Dark nut brown - ruby colour, steady small beige head. Aroma is a bit boozy with toffee, rye bread and vanilla. Full-bodied. Sweet toffeish flavour. Taste is less boozy than nose. Also rye bread, raisins, some light bitterness. Can't trace caraway. Decent sippable dessert beer.

Bottled 330ml. -from Beergium. Darker amber coloured, small off-white head that went away fast, caramel and whiff of wood in the nose. Sweet malty, dried fruits, caramel and wood with noticable alcohol and rather sweet finish. Nothing special here. 10.5%ABV

Bottle. Bronze color. Aroma has caramel, raisin, figs, vanilla, oak, molasses and toffee. Taste has raisin, caramel fudge, oak, boozy ripe fruit, vanilla, subtle smoke, rye, malt and figs. Really smooth mouthfeel. Nice dessert barley wine.
