Аромат сладкий, пряный, солодовый сильно, немного сухофруктов. Цвет янтарный, практически без пены. Вкус не такой тяжелый как казалось должно быть при 10 градусах. Ощущается солод, немного карамели. Послевкусие плавное, классически-кофейное. Практически без кислинки, очень ароматное и продолжительное. В целом очень добротно.

Draught@Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some sweet malts, alcohol, rye and some fruity hops too. Flavour has quite similar elements as the aroma, but is also very boozy, so this one is rather hard to drink.

Almost clear deep red - amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts, caramel and toffee. Ripe fruits. Modest spice. A little oaky sweetness. Smooth spicy finish. Well rounded but lacks maturity.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours a nice brown/purple, with limited foam. Aroma is oxidated, barrel, wood, cherry, figs, alcoholic. Body is dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet at first, fairly bitter, but still feeling moderate because of the level of alcohol. A bit of sour. Finish is long and moderately sour.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Stas. Clear deep amber-brown. Malt, caramel, spicy rye, alcohol, soy sauce, sweet and umami, boozy. Over the top.

Bottle. Color: Dark copper, thin off-white head. Aroma: Dark red fruit, rye, vanilla. Taste: Rye, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla, herbal, anise and light boozy and oak hints. Medium sweet, lightly bitter. Medium to over medium body, soft carbonation. Long lasting finish. Nice one, pretty complex and well balanced flavours.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Clear dark red brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, rye and light wood. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Light dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. Should be moved to Barley Wine. 091018

mooi donker rood met mooie gloed en volle kaki kraag. aroma is zoet, vanille, donker fruit, alcohol, nice. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, erg zacht, veel donker fruit, alcoholisch, toffee, caramel, graan, zacht, glad, had iets dikker gemogen, redelijk alcoholisch, erg zacht, rogge, redelijk tot volle body
