Draught @ Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Pours reddish brown with a small head. Aroma of rye, malts, caramel, toffee, oak and wood. Taste is sweet, sticky and syrupy with some malts, plums, rye, berries and wood. Finish is heavy and complex with some warming alcohol, plums, wood, rye, toffee, berries, oak and spices. Quite heavy and slightly boozy slow sipper.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20180214) The beer poured deep ruby red and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, caramel, vineousness and wood. Palate was full bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, vanilla, vineousness, wood and bitterness. Aftertaste had vanilla, wood, malts and bitterness. A pleasant strong malty brew with wood and vanilla notes.

Draught Small pale tan head over reddish dark brown beer. Very nice red fruit-laden nose, runny cheese, blue cheese, raisins, nuts, fusels. Absolutely great vinous flavour with red & dried fruit, dates, hops, raisins, dried cherries and blueberries, goji berries. Further quite some vanilla and fusels. Quite well-bodied, alcoholic, feeling well-carbonated. Excellent! A Barley, sorry, Rye Wine in the best way. 8/4/8/4/17

Tap @ Pudel. Pours dark red, mahogany, relatively clear though, Not really that much carbonation - but I would not expect that from this beer anyway. Sweet, sticky and syrupy nose, maple syrup if to be more exact. Light spices, lots of sweetness, some booze. Taste is sweet but spices are in good balance, boozy but oak barrel is also coming out nicely. Rye is also giving some spice character, low to medium bitterness, hard liquor booze. Relatively dry overall, so drinks actually deceivingly easy (and maybe serving temperature is a tad bit too cold). Enjoyable and dangerous.

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn (Three is not a crowd! Sori, Tanker, Borg takeover.) Clear dark brown to dark ruby with a fairly modest, off-white head. Somewhat strange wooden aroma with caramelly and vinous notes, hints of fruits, rye and something slightly strange (guess that's the caraway seeds, then). Medium sweet, more balanced than expected, flavours are fairly mild and can't taste the much of strange notes. Hints of acidity and a light bitterness. Thinner body than expected. A bit confusing, but fairly enjoyable.

Sampled at Billies Craftbeerfest 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Don't mind the visual info to much, as lighting was really bad. Pours dark, clear, copperbrown. No real head. Smell is full, oak, fruity. Mild booze. Taste is sharp, full, bourbon, intense, buttery bourbon. OK
