Beautiful orangey-amber colour, with a generous head. Very effervescent.
Notes of citrus, spices, caramel in the nose. Very complex. Sometimes vanilla.
Full bodied and complex, sweet, followed by and explosion of flavours.
Clearly the best.

Pours hazy amber with off white head. Bread dough and caramel aromas. Sweet fruity flavor with some dough, brown sugar, maltiness and some spices. It doesn’t have the Unibroue yeast flavor, but it does have the lively carbonation. Medium body with dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange amber color with a large frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is a potent caramel with spicy malt. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is a very sweet honey and caramel. Full bodied and a nice malty finish. A very good belgian strong ale from Unibroue.

750 ml. bottle. Orangey-amber or ripe apricot flesh in color. Nice beige head. Aroma is light citrus, some spice, something like light ripe stone fruit and a little non-roasted caramel. Near full in body with creamy carbonation. Very fresh and fruity in a cooked light stone fruit way. Something hinting at tart, could be apple, but I may be imagining vanilla. It really is complex in terms of subtle flavors. Could be some coriander. Finishes nicely balanced. It is very pleasant to drink.

Århus2008. 75 cL bottle. Pours almost clear orange with a lacng white head. Overripe fruit aroma. Flavour is fruity and solid malt flavoured. Ends with a light fruity dense and malty flavour. Somewhat a bit on the dull side - although not bad.
