tap at the brewpub. cloudy red, small offwhite head. not very strong spicy aroma. faint but seems to be well balanced and round. floral, honey flavor, very pleasing, after a second the alc. hits with some more spicey flavors at its side. a very flowery belgian, but very well balanced, and the sweetness is complex. spices and alc try to balance the sweetness, but doesn’t succeed entirely.

At Nørrebro Brewery.Dark reddish colour with medium head.Aroma is sweet fruity and slight rosted.Flavor of sirup and malty,nice well balanced with soft finish.

Forgot to write down where this is sampled (not @ the brewpub). Amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty with spices. Flavor is sweet malty, brown sugar, yeast, spices, some bitterness and hints of alcohol and dry fruit. Quite complex, but not totally in balance.

Draught @ Nørrebro Bryghus, Copenhagen. Unclear amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, wheat, moderate sugar - muscovado sugar, moderate clove, notes flowers - rosenwater. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. (Burnt sugar bitter). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (170308)

(Draught at Nörrebro Bryghus, Copenhagen, 28 March 2008) Dark ruby colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with dried fruit, raspberries and flowers. Malty taste with notes of dried fruit, caramel and a balanced, spicy, sweet finish. Fairly low, spicy bitterness. More than medium body. Nice beer.

[Draught @ Nørrebro] Hazy brown with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with light roasted malt, fruit, yeast and chocolate. Sweet fruity flavor with roasted malt, chocolate and caramel notes.

On tap at Københavnske øldage 07. Copper colour with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet. Flavour is caramel, sirup, alcohol, sugar. Nice beer.

On tap at Københavnske Øldage. Clear, copper beer with an off-white head. Malt, beef-stock and sugar in the aroma and flavor. Full body with a fizzy sensation in the mouth. Beefstock and hops in the finish. A really nice beer, but it didn’t give me that dubbel-feeling. (070511)

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours cobber/amber with a quickly disappearing head. Aroma is sweet malty and floral. Fullbodied. Flavour is slight herbal, clear alcohol presence and hoppy slight soapy. Alcohol and hop finish.
