(Bottle, thanks to larsniclas and rlgk!) Clear copper color, white head. Sweet honey scent, also heather. Sweet malty sugare taste, menthol aftertaste. Weak mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of pine and rosehips. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of honey and alcohol, leading to a very bitter finish. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky.

(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 3 Aug 2007) Copper colour with brief white head. Fruity, spicy nose with dark fruit and a bitter-sweet spiciness that has to come from the sloe (my guess was sweet gale). Fruity taste with a bitter-sweet character (sloe, pine neddles, sweet gale) and dark fruit. Balanced sweetness. Very spicy.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. (as Brøckhouse Brygmesterens Bryg nr. 9) Clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Nose and flavor of honey and heather, sweetish, and a bit grainy. Medium to thin body. Quite heathery finish. Yet another boring honey ale. (070512)

CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and a touch of honey. Flavour is sweet honey with a good soft malty profile sharpening of the edges. Finish is light bitter.

Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are lots of honey and sweetness with some hops as well.

Draught af copenhagen beerfestival. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and light hopy aroma. Really nice complex bitter flavor. Average bitter finish. Creamy palate.
