Cask, 4.2% at GBBF08. Almost black colour. Weak roasted flavour, thin body. Fruity aftertaste. Quite thin in body and flavour.

Cask (gravity) @ The National Winter Ales Festival 2008, Manchester, UK. Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, mild coffee, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. (Very easy to drink). Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft - flat. (190108)

Cask at GBBF 2007. A brown beer with a thick brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty and rather roasted combined with notes of caramel, leading to a finish with a hint of soy sauce. The body is thin.

Cask@GBBF2007. Dark amber colour, small head. Aroma is coffee, vanilla, slight roasted malts, nuts and quite much caramel. Flavour is coffee, fruits, some bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and sour caramel malts and fruits. Quite sticky palate.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Dark brown, lasting beige head. No real condition on this, pretty good malts, but thin overall, bit acidic, sour, not great.
