Can. A gusher, producing a lightly hazy golden colored body and a small white head. The aroma has a decent saison touch in the back, with a really wonderful chili scent. Sort of onion-ish and black peppery, with lots of generic fruityness. It's chili warming, medium to full-bodied and nicely carbonated, semi-dry, with a gentle bitterness. The flavor has some black pepper, saison notes, generic fruityness, mango and onion, but it's a very nice fruityness that dominates. Lasting finish. Too heavy on the chili this one, but at least the chili gives both aroma and flavor in a very nice way. 240525

Bottle @ home. Almost clear, pale golden body under a moderate sized white head. Mild aroma, light malt and hint of green pepper. Taste indicates that the beer itself is not the main focus here. That said, the chili souse part is not at a silly level as often when making this kind of chili beers, its quite nice and balanced and actually a god match to my barbeque. Not very difference between the yellow and the red one, but somehow, I prefer the red one. A novelty kind of beer, but still drinkable, just not very exciting.

Stråfarget. Uklar. Middels høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Lett chiliaroma. Smaken kryddersaus. Lett brennende varm avslutning. Har lite med øl å gjøre.

330ml can, #726 475, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Tested together with Bådin Chili Saison (Gul). Pours a big white head fast declining over a misty warm golden body, poor lacing. Modest aromas of spiced saison fruits, dry. Strange kind of taste, moments of onions, vegetables, and saison fruits followed by an overdone dose of chili spices to the ending. Not for me, half of the content went down the drain. (Tromsø, 30.06.2023).
