500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Mid-gold and clear, a little wisp of off-white head but not much. Some overripe nectarine and papaya in the aroma, medicinal astringency. Taste is sweet, decent flavour of tropical fruit, with a decent bitterness in the finish. Medium body, slightly oily, lighter to medium carbonation. A cut above your average pale ale.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A bright pale amber pour with a tight white head; tropical fruit aroma; dry in the mouth with a stone fruit taste; and a sour finish. Odd.
