Established Sibeeria from Prague collaborating with establishing Hophemel in Belgian Limburg - an unlikely association, so thanks again tderoeck for sharing. Snow white, medium thick, opening and breaking, irregular head on a hazy yellow blonde robe. Aroma of yellow grapefruit, wormwood, orange zest, white pepper, bread crumbs, dried lemongrass, unripe pineapple, bergamot, onions sweating in hot olive oil. Clean onset, notes of green guava and green kiwi but low in 'tropical' fruitiness, softish in carb and smooth in mouthfeel; white-bready, slender but consistent maltiness deeply flavoured by citrusy, peppery and even wormwoody hoppiness, aromatic but ultimately very bittering too, in a long-stretched, resinous way. This is bold West Coast bitterness guised in hazy looks: I love that. Eat your hearts out, sweet haze boys...

500ml Can - Golden in colour. Pineapple, orange and herbs in the aroma. The taste is hoppy, herbal and moderately bitter with notes of pineapple, grapefruit and orange.

Clear yellow blond beer, small creamy white head, a little stable, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very nice, juicy, tropical fruits, oranges, orange peel, zesty, citrus, sweet impression, a little dirty, onions, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, tropical fruits, very bitter, sweet touch, dank hops, zesty, yeasty, very grassy, very resinous, dry, some onions, grains. Aftertaste: very bitter, juicy, resinous, tropical fruits, lots of grapefruit, a bit medicinal, dank hops, dry finish, some caramel, herbal, a bit yeasty, floral touch.

Can. Medium grassy dank earthy hops character, lemony, bergamot. Med-high bitter, medium zesty, low sweetness, pretty dry. Good, but not great.

Pineous on a nose. Medium bitterness. Hoppy. Pineous. Indeed a west coast IPA.

A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of piney bitter hops, citrus, pale malt. Taste of intense piney hops, citrus, spruce. Long bitter finish.

Tap at Sibeeria Tap Room with nuplastikk. Clearish golden body, white head. Oniony aroma, bit peachy, somewhat tropical. Lean, dry taste, bit citric and oniony, low bitterness for the style. Solid, but hardly memorable.
