Our annual brew of Red 5 has returned! Perfect for the cooler weather, layers of rich malt character wrap around the palate, complemented by notes of winter berries, pine and sticky resin. A moreish bitterness develops in waves for a satisfying finish. Vegan.

(Cask at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 26 Nov 2022) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, pink grapefruit and rye bread. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, rye bread, blood orange and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made amber ale, with a good citric hop presence. Very nice.
