Can at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours clear brown with a foamy, tan head. Rich and well balanced, hearty meaty smoked malts, some fresh ham, toast, mild earth. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish. Solid overall:

Can at home. It pours clear darkest ruby with a thick, fluffy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, big hit of smoke which lingers, toasty, smoked bacon, frazzles, molasses, treacle and some fruit cake. The taste is initially dry, bitter - sweet, roasted malt, toast, deep wood smoked malts which lingers throughout, charred wood, caramel, molasses, treacle, dried fruits, raisin, cherry, peppery spice, hint of jam, malt loaf and light warmth with a toasty, smokey finish. Medium+ body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Fulsome, moreish and satisfying. STF are doing some great stuff right now.

Tight foamy off white head left a creamy cover on reddish brown body. Bacon & smoked aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & soft on the tongue with lightly carbonated back. Malt, liquorice, jam & sweet berry tastes with a lightly smoked finish. That's decent.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy brown body with a thick beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of sweet beech smoke and raisin. Flavour of prune and smoked ham. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. An excellent beer. Is there a beer style Simple Things can’t do?
