A low alcohol sorbet sour made with the no and low masters at Mash Gang. Fermented with our fresh sour mixed culture to give us a nice lactic acid base, conditioned on oranges, vanilla and a small quantity of pineapple.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 29B: orange, pineapple and vanilla / 28D - adapted: low alcohol 0.5%). Can 44 cl - Batch unknown (BB: December 2023). AROMA: medium-high clean lactic sourness and orange/mandarin peel aroma. APPEARANCE: cristal clear pale yellow color. low white head with low to no retention. TASTE: medium orange/mandarin peel flavor with medium-high clean lactic sourness and slight floral notes. medium bitterness with a dry and slightly sour finish. low background yeasty note. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with low carbonation. OVERALL: although overall its quite drinkable, the pineapple and vanilla was not detected.

Can at the beer shop St Albans. A light hazed deep gold coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, white sugars, tart lemon, lemon verbena, zesty, little soapy. Flavour is composed of sharp lemon, pinch of salt, grass lemon rind, refreshing tart. Palate is crisp, tart, lemon, rind. Refreshing, fine carbonation.
