10th Dec 2014: 0.4 litre glass. Draught @ the brewpub. New name but same beer (I think): now called ’Weihnachts Bock’. Murky brown pour with an off-white top. Very sweet and fruity from the start, body almost like a fruit smoothy in nature.

Dunkel malziger Beginn mit passender Süße. Etwas modrig werdend, die Süße stört nun etwas. Trocken im Abgang, wenig Alkohol. OK. 11/11/11/11//11

Tap @ Joh. Albrecht, Hamburg. Unclear dark brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark malts and light spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Really nice. 011212

Draught @ Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany. Alc. 7.5% Unclear medium amber red color with a average, frothy / creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange, notes of clove. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (081207)
