Bottle. Dark brown, brown frog spawn foam. Soapy aroma, light roast. Medium body, dflat, metallic, light roast, papery, light breadcrust finish. Really not exiting.

Summer Sunday @ Dolle. Dark copper with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with black bread and toffee and a touch of leather. Sweet malty flavour with toffee and dark fruit. Nice bitter finish but also a touch of brown sugar in the aftertaste

Bottle @ Oberfranken Neuheiten, Summer Bottleshare Odense, Summer 2018. Pours amber copper with a small white head. Vague roast, caramel, bread and grains. Short bitter finish.

0.5 l bottle from local ’Trink & Spare’, best before July 2017. Clear, very dark brownish red with a medium large, very dense, foamy, stable, beige head. Sweetish, slightly roasty and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, chocolate, nuts and some bread. Sweetish, slightly roasty-malty and a little grassy-spicy taste of caramel, nuts, some chocolate, bread crust and hints of coffee, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and a little grassy-spicy finish with a metallic touch. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not bad, but not that exciting as well.

On tap at a kneipe in Wittenberg. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and fruit. Sweetish flavour of fruit, malt and caramel. Mild, sweetish and estery aftertaste. OK, relaxing, but not top quality.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein schwarzes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, erdig, leicht würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, leichte Kaffe Aromen, erdig, trocken malzig, leicht süß.

50 cl bottle at Berlin Bar. Pours dark brown with a deep amber glare and a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, caramelish and toasted. Breadish. Light bitterness, roasted malty and caramelish to toasted breadish. Mild sweet, roasted and breadish malty. Bitter and medium dey finish.
