Rich, indulgent stout with flavors of pecan, maple, and coffee. We used Ethiopian coffee with light roast to let the pecan and maple syrup shine. Blended with three grades of maple syrup, each adding its own depth of sweetness, and toasted pecans for a bold, aromatic finish. This stout is perfectly balanced, with the coffee providing just enough floral notes to complement the rich, nutty profile.
Cheers.

Appearance is oily black, not really any head but some tan bubbles. Aroma- lots of dark malt, chocolate, coffee, roast malt, nutty notes, brownie. Taste is rich smooth chocolate, chocolate torte, nutty roast malt, coffee, caramel, dark malt, toffee, earthy roast malt, sweet and thick, almost chewy, bitter coffee grounds. Excellent.

440ml blik thuis.

pitch dark with a smooth brown head.
aroma is honey, nuts, based in dark chocolate and roasted malts.
the honey like aroma (from maple syrup) notes are quite complex.
flavor is chocolate and maple syrup, a bit of bitter hard roasted coffee, espresso like, and some roasted malts into the end.
the chocolate and honey is big in this one, the rest is good enough to make the whole beer taste non-artificial, like a home cooked really well done chocolate cake.
texture is super soft and oily.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy smooth palate, soft and rich. Fluffy and smooth dark malts and pronounced dark malt cream. A lovely creamy dark chocolate and coffee and then, the wonderful and slightly soft but rich pecan vibe. Soft rich finish with some mild chocolate liqueur. Wonderfully rich
, smooth and ridiculously drinkable.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 08/03/2025.
Pitch black topped with a big ole lasting dirty tan head.
Nose is chocolate melt, molasses, pecan, light coffee grinds, toffee fudge.
Taste comprises chocolate, brown sugar melt, light spice balance, coffee bean, maple, pecan.
Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost..
Fun pastry affair ... runs a touch sweet in places but balanced pretty well overall with a pinch of spice and touch of roast.
