Smooth and sessionable dark mild, perfect for dark evenings down the pub and drizzly days watching spring county cricket. Chocolate and crystal malts add a rich, choco-caramel complexity without making compromises on drinkability, and a light addition of trad-as-you-can-get East Kent Goldings hops round things out with an earthy, herbal bitterness

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear brown beer, decent bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, mildly dry, thin, modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, a decent cocoa chocolate vibe, goes well with the light pine and mild ripe plummy fruits. Very light and semi dry finish. Tidy Mild. Am I going to seek this out again? Fairly juicy and fairly tasty, could session this.

440ml can. Very dark indeed as it's almost black, with a dense tan head, a beauty. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, mildly nutty. Taste of chocolate, caramel, light roast, toasted bread, mildly nutty and mild dark fruit. Medium bodied. What a fantastic mild this is!

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Dark brown body with a beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts and roasted malt. Flavour of brambles and dark chocolate. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This is excellent - rich and flavoursome, despite the low ABV. More dark milds please! I’d love to see a wee series of dark milds - hop variation and/or ABV variation.
