Dry, bright and properly bitter on the finish; nostalgia never tasted this good. This beer harks back to a time where we didn't need to prefix IPA with 'West Coast', because all IPA was supposed to taste this way.

The style allows us to showcase the purest expression of Citra, with a much more modern hopping rate. You get the heavy hits of lime and tropical fruit you expect, but when it doesn't have to vie for your attention with other hops, you can experience its more subtle notes of melon and lychee.

Underlying earthy malts..Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. A refined Westie. Bitter but gentle with it.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear gold beer but with a lot of pale floaters that disappear when poured. Small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a very modest sweetness. Crispy Citra hops. Orange peel, juicy orange, tangerine peel, a little mandarin. Hop spice ramping up on the back end along with some emergent marmalade. Good West Coaster, crisp and bitter but no bleedin caramel or near rotting orange.
