Quite typical of its style, and not the worst of its kind. Nothing wrong with it. I just do not fancy that much alcohol tast in my beer.
Clear deep golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Sweet-ish malt, some alcohol and some fruity notes in the aroma. Medium + body and a fine carbonation. Sweet-ish and oily. Deep caramel malty, mild fruity and some alcohol.

33cl bottle @ Viking ferry. As gullmack pilsner. Clear golden, thick white head. Grainy, malty, sweet aroma. Flavor similar, sweet malty, basic bulk stuff.

Klar gylden brun med høyt hvitt skum. Malt, honning og fudgelukt. Søt fyldig smak av karamell, noe sydfrukter. Lite bitterhet

Bottled. A golden with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, metal, and malt, leading to a dry metallic finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours grassy and slight herbal. Mild grassy, bitter and toasted. Dry and slight herbal. Bitter and grassy finish. Bitter and dry finish.

Stopped regular rating 22nd Oct 2012 so this is one of my occasional ratings. Bottle at a theatre type cafe/bar Kinema? Tromso, Friday 18th January 2013 Clear gold and whilst bubbly if there was a head it soon went. Typical strong lager, touch metallic and corny but decently bitter and sweetness whilst there didn’t detract. Ok it is just a strong lager but I didn’t mind it at all. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

En god tørsteslukker med en behagelig maltprofil. Med sine 6,5% hadde den fint tålt litt mer humle, det ville gjort den friskere og mer interessant. Hvorfor er norske industribryggerier så tilbakeholdne i sin bruk av humle?

On tap in Olhallen, Tromso. Clear pale gold beer, little white head. Light semi crisp palate. Malt is slightly sweet. There is some nice citrus lemony thing going on. Floral notes. Another decent Mack beer - not understanding all these low ratings. Or is it so much better being next door to the brewery?
